They need a place to play. One that is safe, functional and up to par.
Who are we talking about?
The kids of Milwaukee County.
If you have been to their athletic fields, then you have seen the problem firsthand.
We recently found over two-thirds of them to be unsafe, dysfunctional or non-existent.
How can we get Milwaukee County kids in the game? Let’s give them a voice!
Here’s our solution.
If we can build a place for pro-athletes to play, we need to do the same for the children who live here. It is our position that if public funds are used to build a NEW BUCKS ARENA, then at least $150 million of these funds must be used to improve Milwaukee County athletic facilities and recreational spaces.
That is the mission of Fair Play, but we can’t do it alone. As members of Common Ground we need YOU to..
