It is vital that our police and fire departments represent the diversity of Milwaukee. Sadly, women and people of color are massively underrepresented. This must change.

Studies show that diversity reforms improve the treatment of minority communities, including reduced use of force
Women and people of color deserve family-supporting jobs with career advancement opportunities, healthcare, a pension, and status in the community.
CG is working on strategies to increase the recruitment, retention, and promotion of women and people of color in our police and fire departments.
