The largest school in Milwaukee County has over 2,000 students. They have a football team and plenty of fans, yet they can’t practice on their own field – much less host a game. Why? Their field is “unplayable”.
It’s not an isolated problem in Milwaukee County. In our Fair Play Report, Common Ground of Southeastern Wisconsin found that TWO-THIRDS of outdoor athletic / recreational facilities in our area are substandard – rated fair, poor or terrible.
