Health Care Reform Committee Explores Wisconsin Health Insurance Cooperative

June 20th, 2008

The Health Care Reform Committee is exploring the formation of a Health Insurance Cooperative for small businesses, self employed individuals and non-profit organizations. The Cooperative would be a vehicle for these groups and individuals to have more bargaining power in the insurance market in Southeastern Wisconsin. Common Ground will be conducting information briefings on the Cooperative idea on August 4, 5 and 13. For more information, please see the flyer with details for the Briefings and and a background paper explaining the Cooperative idea.

For more information about these meetings, please download the WHC August Briefing flyer (PDF).
