IT’S ABOUT OUR CHILDREN

In March of 2020, after schools were closed due to the pandemic, our leaders became concerned that Milwaukee Public Schools wasn’t educating ALL students remotely. 

In our conversations with Superintendent Posley, School Board Members, MTEA and the Wisconsin Superintendent of Public Instruction we pushed MPS to begin contacting students and begin online teaching so students would not fall further behind. Our school board testimonies argued for a system-wide plan for online learning and for getting Chromebook computers to every student.
